2. What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a simple, transparent model that removes insurance barriers so you can have a true relationship with your doctor. Instead of paying per visit, you pay a predictable monthly membership fee that covers your care to allow you time, access, and peace of mind.
3. Who is Solace Well Care for?
We serve individuals and families who want healthcare that fits their lives — not the other way around. We care for individuals and families ages 5 and up. Whether you’re seeking proactive wellness care, chronic disease management, or convenient urgent/sick care for your children, Solace Well Care offers flexible, accessible and compassionate care that fits your life.
4. How does membership work?
When you join Solace Well Care, you get direct access to your care team via same- or next-day appointments, longer visit times, and the kind of trust-filled relationship you deserve. The monthly membership enables us to focus on you, not on the number of visits. Your membership includes direct access to your physician through in-person, virtual, or message-based visits.
We keep things transparent: no surprise fees for standard visits, and discounted rates for labs, imaging, and prescriptions when needed.
5. Do you take insurance?
We don’t bill insurance for visits. This allows us to focus on you and not on paperwork or rushed time slots. We recommend keeping a major medical or high-deductible insurance plan for emergencies, hospitalizations, or specialty procedures.
6. Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes! Many members use HSA or FSA funds to pay for their Solace Well Care membership. Please check with your plan administrator to confirm your plan’s eligibility.
7. What’s included in my membership?
Your monthly fee includes:
Unlimited in-person home visits and virtual visits
Direct messaging for quick questions
Extended, unhurried appointment times
Adult Preventive and chronic care management
Pediatric acute care or school physical form completion (ages 5 and up)
Coordination for specialty and hospital care
Access to discounted labs, imaging, and prescriptions

8. Are there any additional costs?
Most services are covered by your membership. If labs, imaging, or medications are needed, we’ll always discuss costs first and help find affordable options.

9. What if I need specialist or hospital care?
We stay connected through every step of your care by coordinating with specialists, sharing records, and helping you navigate next steps so you never feel alone in the process.
10. What if Solace Well Care isn’t the right fit?
You can cancel your membership anytime with a 30-day notice. There are no long-term contracts or hidden fees. We want your care to feel right for you and your family.
11. What if I am 65 or older and have Medicare? Can I join?
At this time, we are actively assessing interest in direct primary care membership options for Medicare-eligible adults. If you would like to be notified as options become available, please fill out our interest form. We’d love to stay connected with you as our offerings expand.
